Core Group Resources Announces the Addition of Chad Fuhrman as Senior Consultant.

Core Group Resources is thrilled to announce the addition of Chad Fuhrmann as a Senior Consultant to our Consultancy Division. As a 25-year engineering professional and subject matter expert, Chad will serve our existing client base as a consultant and foster new relationships across maritime and other industries. He will also manage projects, provide technical support, and contribute to strategic planning.

After graduating from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in 1998, Chad sailed internationally as a Chief Engineer until 2008 when he shifted his career focus shoreside.  Since then, he has consulted clients in marine operations, engineering, and dynamic positioning. As an independent consultant, Chad guided numerous international companies in launching their US regional commercial campaigns, providing innovative assurance methods and strategies. 

With an overarching dedication to safeguarding integrity across organizations, Chad continues to pioneer new approaches to marine operations and professional development in the US and globally. He also volunteers with industry groups such as the Marine Technology Society and as a federally appointed industry representative on the National Offshore Safety Advisory Committee.

Chad recently founded Chaos Ready Inc, which is dedicated to utilizing existing commercial marine assets for humanitarian efforts and disaster response activities. He serves as the non-profit’s CEO.
