A Year of Strategic Community Impact

As a company deeply committed to social responsibility and community engagement, Core Group Resources continued its unwavering dedication to making a positive impact in the lives of others through our Core Group Cares initiative in 2023. Throughout the year, our team actively participated in a diverse range of charitable causes, fostering a strong sense of unity and purpose among our members.

The Beacon 2023

In January, we enthusiastically joined the Katy Pie Run — an event not just focused on promoting fitness but also dedicated to raising funds for Camp Hope. This program provides a secure haven for trauma and post-traumatic stress victims as they embark on their healing journey.

February saw us collaborating with The Beacon, an organization committed to serving individuals experiencing homelessness in Houston. Through our volunteer efforts, we extended a compassionate hand to those in need, contributing to the broader effort of addressing homelessness in our community.

March marked a significant event as we organized a Golf Tournament alongside Frontline Response, actively participating in the fight against human sex trafficking in Houston. This tournament not only showcased our strong commitment to social responsibility but also raised crucial funds to support anti-trafficking initiatives.

Houston Food Bank

In April, our team dedicated time to volunteer at the Houston Food Bank, where we sorted and packaged nutritious meals for families in need throughout the greater Houston area. Our commitment continued in June as we provided ongoing support for Camp Hope, volunteering and contributing to this vital program that creates a secure haven for trauma survivors.

July took us beyond local borders as we embarked on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic, engaging in prayer and offering encouragement to local pastors. Our team exemplified the global impact that can be achieved through genuine acts of kindness and compassion.

August showcased our dedication to education as we provided essential back-to-school supplies for foster families, ensuring that every child had the tools needed for academic success.

In September, we partnered with the Mission of Yahweh, contributing to the organization's faith-based shelter and empowering the lives of homeless women and children. This initiative also included outreach services to communities in need.

As the year concluded in December, we participated in the Toys for Tots initiative, bringing joy to less fortunate children and making the holiday season brighter for those in need.

Mission of Yahweh

Our Core Group Cares initiative in 2023 demonstrated not only our commitment to social responsibility but also the transformative power of compassion and collaboration in communities. This dedication serves as an inspiration to businesses and individuals alike, showcasing the positive impact that can be achieved when hearts and hands come together for the greater good.
