Core Group Resources Vision & Dominant Selling Idea

By Matt Fuhrman - Core Group Resources CEO

When we were building a vision statement, we looked researched other companies’ statements, like Amazon’s “to buy anything you want on the internet”. We asked ourselves the question, ‘What are we trying to ultimately accomplish?’ The vision statement must hold true even 50 years from now.

At Core Group Resources, we envision a world with no unemployment. We believe that everyone should have access to meaningful work, and we're committed to making this vision a reality.

From a digital matchmaking point of view, a world with no unemployment is possible. One where if you were laid off, you could upload your resume into our system and be matched within hours or days to a brand-new job. This could encompass the world, not just local. So, what if we built a system where you can be matched to your perfect job in 24 hours wherever you are in the world?

Our dominant selling idea is to use leading edge technology with relationships to be the fastest and most accurate human capital connectors. The art to matchmaking is in technology. It’s a process that’s still being explored matching people to jobs is not an exact science. It is based on the combination of the technical aspects and the personality match. We’ve bulked up on technology. Now it’s important to refine each piece so that everything is running at its optimal point. If the data is ‘dirty’ we must process and refine it.

The DSI drives everything we do. Truly, the matchmaking process is simple, it’s just connecting two dots. It’s the lead up, the precursor to the matchmaking, that has funnels developed from the best practices and the best tech, which leads to the best match between job and person.

Currently, the greatest challenge that recruiters face is people’s willingness to work. The vision of a world with no unemployment is impossible if people are not willing to work. Part of our mission and vision statement is to grow people’s enjoyment of their jobs.

I believe that world peace can be achieved when people are played to their strengths where they can do the best job. When people are energized and their lives are enriching, it leads to peace. It’s not just jobs being available, but jobs that also bring joy.
